Bled

No visit to Slovenia is complete without a visit to Bled, our alpine jewel. All the important buildings here have a first class view over the lake – from the medieval castle to your hotel. From your room, restaurant, the patio, garden and even the pool – you can glimpse at the beautiful Lake Bled with its romantic island and the mountains beyond.

Inside the hotel, the atmosphere is very special, as you are surrounded by wonderful antiques from their extensive collection. The place we’ve chosen for you here goes hand in hand with tradition. When we enter one of the rooms, we feel like we’ve came to our grandmother’s home – but with a modern twist. It is the real family stories that make these rooms unique since so many have entwined over the 100-year-old history of the homestead. Each room tells its story and completes it with carefully selected details, which will take you back in time of Slovenian family tradition.

For starters, no morning is complete without a small cup of black “Turkish” coffee.

Soča valley is also home to our dear friend Ana Roš – best female chef of 2017, who put Slovenia on the international culinary map. Needles to say, she will sweep you off your feet with her mouthwatering culinary sensations. Ana’s philosophy is to use seasonal homegrown and local food, prepared with great attention to detail and spiced with her strong character.

Heads up – you need to book especially early to get your seat (or room) at her charming countryside villa, especially since their restaurant was ranked among the top 50 restaurants of the World in 2018 and received first two Michelin stars in Slovenia in June 2020!

Kamnik – Savinja Alps

Logar Valley

Located at the foothills of Kamnik – Savinja Alps, the Logar valley is considered as one of the most beautiful Alpine glacial valleys in Europe. To experience the serenity and peaceful Alpine beauty without all the crowds, this is definitely a must. Here you will find harmony of pristine nature, relaxing atmosphere and mountain air. Jezersko Valley

A valley where you can slow down and take a different pace. Unplug and recharge. This is where you can rest at an over 500 years old farmstead with traditional Alpine architecture, or a modern vila where they give way to a harmony of all naturally sourced materials, especially wood.
