Our hotels in Slovenia
For your your stay in Ljubljana we chose a boutique hotel in the heart of the old town. A narrow cobbled street will take you inside an old bourgeois house, where the modern meets the old in a passionate embrace. You will be overtaken by design, that is enhanced to meet the needs of the contemporary traveler and that is in its essence, just like the city itself: in love with the old, constantly seeking the new.
Enjoy your afternoon refreshment on the rooftop terrace, where you can cool yourself down in a pool, overlooking the winding river and the bustling city life below, surrounded by panorama of tiled roofs and lively streets. Enjoy your dinner just by the magical river Ljubljanica, soaking in the atmosphere whilst tasting some of the best regional dishes.
No visit to Slovenia is complete without a visit to Bled, our alpine jewel. All the important buildings here have a first class view over the lake – from the medieval castle to your hotel. From your room, restaurant, the patio, garden and even the pool – you can glimpse at the beautiful Lake Bled with its romantic island and the mountains beyond.
Inside the hotel, the atmosphere is very special, as you are surrounded by wonderful antiques from their extensive collection. More than a century long history of this place, will make you almost feel those stories from the past on every step that you make. Photos and paintings will take you on a special journey, into year 1906.
Settled in the heart of Julian Alps, with multiple options for biking and hiking day trips.
The place we’ve chosen for you here goes hand in hand with tradition. When we enter one of the rooms, we feel like we’ve came to our grandmother’s home – but with a modern twist. It is the real family stories that make these rooms unique since so many have entwined over the 100-year-old history of the homestead. Each room tells its story and completes it with carefully selected details, which will take you back in time of Slovenian family tradition.
For starters, no morning is complete without a small cup of black “Turkish” coffee.
Not far from Kranjska Gora, this is a lovely village with tranquil setting and stunning views of the Alps.
The entire interior of the resort is interlaced with unique and natural materials sourced from the local Alpine environment. The natural elements bring warmth and kindness to the facility, emphasising the importance of natural beauty and tradition. You can feel them with every step of your stay here, while the wide open view of nature will sooth and relax your senses.
The picturesque land of the emerald Soča river hides many remote corners where you will find your peace. Pleasant little towns, surrounded by high peaks of the Julian Alps, are paradise for all of you who wish to get away from the busier side of the mountain range.
Hidden away by a backdrop of greenery that nature itself created lies a fairytale hotel Dobra Vila with eleven rooms. Time stops here. Let yourself be spoilt by the kindest host and enjoy superb breakfasts on the white terrace with stunning views. After an active day in the valley, all there is left for you is to relax and enjoy the setting that makes this a truly magical place.
Soča valley is also home to our dear friend Ana Roš – best female chef of 2017, who put Slovenia on the international culinary map. Needles to say, she will sweep you off your feet with her mouthwatering culinary sensations. Ana’s philosophy is to use seasonal homegrown and local food, prepared with great attention to detail and spiced with her strong character.
Heads up – you need to book especially early to get your seat (or room) at her charming countryside villa, especially since their restaurant was ranked among the top 50 restaurants of the World in 2018 and received first two Michelin stars in Slovenia in June 2020!
